What I reviewed
- Lobster Roll8.1
“Fresh, sweet lobster roll that lets the lobster speak — but wildly overpriced.”
The Beach Plum's cheapest lobster roll ran $28 for a 4-ounce roll, and while that price is steep, the roll itself delivered. The bun was nicely toasted, packed mostly with sweet claw meat, and had just a touch of mayo so the fresh lobster could shine. Really good roll, just not worth close to $34 — it'd score higher if it were cheaper.
