“Beef pho with a smoky chili oil that elevates the whole bowl.”
Carol from the Beyond the Plate podcast invited me out to Noodle Kitchen in Milford with a bunch of other local food creators. The Thai pancakes (pan-fried chive cakes) were crispy outside, chewy inside and super light. The crispy pork belly was salty, savory and delicious. The star was the beef pho: tender beef, meatballs and a savory broth, but what made it was the smoky chili oil on the side. Drip it in and it spreads through the whole bowl. The coconut custard was unlike anything I've had and grew on me.
